The team behind Birmingham St. Patrick’s Parade has issued the following statement regarding the postponement of the upcoming parade, originally scheduled to take place on Sunday, 16th March 2025, in Digbeth. Birmingham Irish Association, the team behind the Parade, have decided to postpone the event, as they cannot deliver a safe and successful parade this year.At its peak, over 80,000 people used to attend St Patrick’s Day in Birmingham and organisers are “not prepared to compromise” on the safety of attendees. The date of the parade will be Sunday 16th March 2025 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm.
